The MEMBRA Field Ecology team is starting an intense field season of data collection. Adriane Esquivel Muelbert leads this team that will use long-term monitoring sites across the UK to track the life and growth of trees over time within a permanent sampling plot. This will involve collecting data on the existing treescapes alongside past information on changing forest types, environmental and diseases conditions. They will be measuring trees in eleven long-term plots across UK old-growth woodlands. The field team of Bruno Cintra, Rodrigo Scarton Bergamin and Rachel Mailes will be doing all the hard work.
